Well look no further…
1. Only experienced Gamers are called upon to test and evaluate games!
This is only true of certain types of games such as Browser based internet games as a high level of technical knowledge will be required for troubleshooting purposes, otherwise gamers of all experience levels are required to give companies accurate feedback across a broad spectrum of their target demographic.
2. There is too much competition for these positions!
Whilst there is definitely a lot of interest in these positions GCLUB there is still an AMAZING shortage of gamers who are either available or have an interest in testing certain games as most gamers are likely to wish to test only those games that fall within the genre of their particular gaming interests.
3. There isn’t enough work to generate a decent income from doing this!
DO NOT BE FOOLED!!!! These positions are not “JOBS” in the ordinary sense of the word. In fact these positions can be more likened to Starting your own business. If you need a “BOSS” telling you how to spend your workday or when to clock in and out then theses positions are not for you. If you are going to sit around waiting for companies to contact you whenever they have a game that you might or might not be interested in then this is not the position for you. You will be required to actively source these opportunities for yourself until you are well enough known within the testing community.
